Paramedics Australasia represented in federal health discussions
Paramedics Australasia policy advisor, Ray Bange was a member of a small delegation from the Australian Health Care Reform Alliance that met with federal politicians and policy advisors in Canberra on 21 November 2011 to discuss health and policy issues.
The officials involved in the meetings were:
Dr Andrew Southcott (Lib)
Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Primary Health Care
Mr Andrew Laming (Lib)
Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Regional Health Services and Indigenous Health
Senator Sue Boyce (Lib)
Senator for Queensland
Senator Claire Moore (ALP)
Senator for Queensland
Sen Helen Polley
ALP Senator for Tasmania
Offices of Senator Richard Di Natale and Rob Oakshott (Ind)
Member for Lyne

Great to see the PA policy advisor is representing the paramedic profession at the higest levels of government. This is one of the vital core functions of our professional body, and a great example of what a united regional body can achieve. We should resource these priorities (at the expense of any commercial folly). Well done!
