Poster Presentations
A scientific poster display will be set up on Day 1 of the conference. Delegates and authors will have the opportunity to meet and discuss posters during set discussion times. Poster finalists will present their posters for further discussion and adjudication on Day 2. Please check the conference program for the session time and location of this event.
The benefits of a poster presentation include:
- Creative and innovative visual elements
- More personal, less formal interaction with audience
- More opportunity to supplement main points and address particular points of interest
Posters should be A0 size (841 mm x 1189 mm) in Portrait Orientation
Competition procedures
Each poster submitted for entry into the Best Poster Prize will be judged on presentation and scientific merit by three independent adjudicators on Day 1 of the Conference (Friday, 2nd November). Four posters with the highest scores will be selected for further presentation on Day 2 at a time allocated to the conference program. Those authors, who are selected to give an oral poster presentation, will be notified via the main reception desk after 3.00 pm on Friday, 2nd November. If your poster is selected for oral presentation, all contributing authors will become eligible to compete for the PA Conference Best Poster Prize. Scores from the initial adjudication of your poster on Day 1 will be added to scores from your oral presentation on Day 2. The poster with the highest cumulative score will be deemed the winner.
